About Me

Hi, I'm Sophie. I'm a mum of two, based in Sudbury in Suffolk, and I've spent the last 10 years working in sales, account management and business operations, helping businesses grow, stay organised and keep their customers happy.

I started Bloom My Business because I kept seeing the same thing: brilliant small business owners who were exceptional at what they did, but drowning in the back-office stuff that nobody ever warned them about. The unanswered emails. The quotes that went out but never came back. The invoices sitting unpaid. Sound familiar?

I genuinely get it

I'm not just someone who's read about running a small business. I've worked behind the scenes in one myself; the quotes, the follow-ups, the customer calls, the paperwork. I know exactly what it feels like when the phone's ringing, a job's running over, and there are three unanswered enquiries sitting in your inbox.

What I actually do

I take the sales admin and back-office support off your plate — the stuff that matters but keeps getting pushed to the bottom of the list.

I can chase your quotes, manage your inbox, follow up your invoices, book your appointments, request your reviews and keep your pipeline moving. I prepare your job sheets, coordinate your installations and make sure your customers always feel like they're in good hands.

I can also help you win more work — putting together sales campaigns, researching and qualifying new leads, managing your Houzz and Google Business profiles, and coming up with practical ideas to help generate new enquiries and grow your business. I bring genuine commercial thinking to everything I do…not just admin.

When I'm not working, you'll usually find me on the school run, walking our dog through the Suffolk countryside, organising local community events, or enjoying time with family and friends. I'm naturally creative, love bringing people together, and if you ever want to talk wine, I'm definitely your person!

  • To manage your inbox and calendar, I'll need delegated access to your Google account — I'll walk you through it, it's straightforward
  • I'll always respond within 24 hours on working days, and I ask the same in return to keep things running smoothly

Payment is monthly in advance by Direct Debit via GoCardless. Once that's in, we're good to go.

I provide flexible, remote sales and business support to small business owners. That means taking the back-office tasks off your plate — things like chasing quotes, managing your inbox, following up invoices, requesting reviews, coordinating jobs and helping you win more work. Think of me as your behind-the-scenes support person, keeping everything running smoothly while you get on with what you do best.
Primarily tradespeople and small business owners — builders, joiners, landscapers, plumbers, electricians and anyone else who runs their own business and needs a reliable pair of hands behind the scenes. That said, I work with all kinds of small businesses, so if you're not sure whether I can help, just get in touch and we'll have a chat.
I offer four packages starting from £249 per month, with add-on services available to bolt on as and when you need them. Everything is clearly priced and there are no hidden costs. Absolutely not. All I ask for is one calendar month's notice if you decide to move on. I want to earn your trust every month — not lock you in!
I'll never ask for your passwords. Instead, you'll simply grant me delegated access to your Google account — it's a straightforward process and I'll walk you through it step by step. It means I can manage your inbox and calendar from my own login, and you can remove my access at any time.
Payment is monthly, in advance, by Direct Debit via GoCardless. It's automatic, hassle-free and means there's no admin on your end.
That's completely fine! My entry-level package starts at just £199 per month for around 8 hours of support. If you're not sure what you need yet, we can start there and build up as your confidence grows. I'm also happy to discuss a bespoke arrangement if none of the standard packages quite fit.
Usually pretty quickly! Once the paperwork is signed and the first payment is taken, I can typically be up and running within a few days. I'll always make sure I've had a thorough handover conversation with you first so nothing gets missed.
